A sister to visit (part 2)

This morning saw Tess dropping Beth off at the airport as she headed back to Cape Town. It has been wonderful having her stay with us....a real blessing!

The girls managed to get through 2 puzzles as well during the week.

This past weekend was great. We spent Friday night with Granny.B, went for a walk on Igoda beach, watched the rugby and caught Amazing Grace on the big screen....what a great movie!

A sister to visit..

We are currently enjoying the privilege of having Tess’s sister stay with us. Beth arrived on Friday last week and is with us until Monday morning. It has been a lot of fun and Tess has taken some well deserved leave to maximize the time with Beth. Last weekend was fairly busy with a lovely breakfast at Lavender Blue followed by the movie Oceans13. Then the girls headed home for a snooze while I went to watch the rugby. Tess and Beth joined me at the Arthur’s for their son John’s 13^th birthday. It was great! Sunday morning we hit HCC followed by another snooze for the girls and soccer for me before rounding off the weekend with pancakes at the Thompson’s.

Tuesday I had to be on site so at 6am accompanied by the ladies we headed off for a 3 hour trip into the Transkei. It was a beautiful day and a good time. We arrived home just after 6pm all feeling rather knackered!! Tess and Beth did some painting to finish off a good day.

Airshows and birthdays...

Well we had a busy weekend.Granny Betty turning 92 on friday. We had her over for dinner and present opening at our place. She really got into the swing of things and only asked to be taken home with the time well on its way to 11pm!!Saturday morning we headed off to the airport and hooked up with a number of Highway folk to enjoy a radical display of different aircraft doing there thing at the East London Airshow.
