Update

Things have been quite frantic recently. Tess's gran has not been well so we have been spending most evenings visiting her. On Saturday last week she was allowed to move back other room from sickbay which has really helped her recover now that she is back in more familiar surroundings.

On Thursday Tess's dad arrived to see his mom. He stayed with us until yesterday morning. It was great to have him and we all had a good time.

I have heard that I passed my most recent assignment which moves me on to subject 2 of the bridging course. Very happy about that. On we go!

Other exciting family news is the engagement of Spling to Lara. Their tentative date of union is the 8th of December 2007.

Ja. Nee. So there it is in a nutshell.

Time flies

I had a quick look at our blog and realised it has been a while since I updated it. Well time has flown since having Beth to stay with us. Tess had quite bad flu for a week so I was running the house for a while and it looked like it!!! Anyway she is 100% better now and back in the swing of things!

Work has been challenging and busy for both of us which is nice....nothing worse than boredom!

My studies are ticking along nicely in the evenings and have almost finished my first subject out of 3 in the bridging course.

We had a married vs singles soccer match yesterday and it did not go well for us marrieds ending up on the losing side of a 5-4 battle. I think they deserved the win all things considered...can't wait for the rematch!

We celebrated the engagement of Johan and Isabel last night which was great and here we are at the beginning of another week.
