Divine ramifications of giving away my pants!
The thing about giving away a pair of pants is that they need to be replaced. Tess and I hit Woolies last night to find me a new pair. After I had found the ones I wanted I disappeared off to Pick n' Pay while Tess went to pay for my pants and pick up some groceries in the food section. Well my pants did not have a tag which sent a Woolies assistant scurrying around while Tess chatted to the teller. Tess asked her how her day had been and she said aggressive. Strange answer!?..Anyway it turns out she thought Tess had asked about her baby! It is a shocking story of how her child has been raped and since the trauma has turned very aggressive. Tess explained to her that she is an OT and can assist her if the child is brought to the hospital. The lady is a believer so the spiritual aspect was explained as well. The long and the short is that this morning Tess had an appointment with the mother and child for assessment, therapy and prayer. By the time Tess had left Woolworths the teller was almost in tears.
All because somebody asked for my pants! (See Can I have Your Pants)
As I was thinking about this whole thing I have no doubt that GOD will set this child free. HIS mercy, grace, power and anointing is always available and HE is faithful to stick to HIS word! Thank you JESUS for the cross! All we need is an opportunity to share this good news!
Without opportunity it is like having R100 million and nowhere to spend it!
May HE grant us more opportunities....
I also had my first session in the studio and got the scratch tracks done for both songs and the drums for one....
