Snow in Umthata?!

Well I was on my way to site this morning just after 6am. The rain was thumping down and overtaking trucks was like overtaking a speedboat and going through the wake! There were branches, dirt and layers of water all over the place. About an hour into my trip and I was wondering about the terribly small amount of wisdom involved in being on the road in these conditions when my boss called and told me to turn around and come home. On site things had gone a bit pear-shaped with lots of rain and snow. Carports had collapsed and the tracks around site had become un-navigable.
